Macanudo Robust Prince Philip

7" X 49

Appearance: This cigar is long! But it is also a pretty looking medium shade of brown and smooth and vein less. Generally a good looking specimen.

Pre- Light: clipped easily. Had prelight notes of leather and cedar, also some tobacco notes.

Burn/Draw: This cigar burned surprisingly well for a cigar this long. A fairly even burn all the way down and the draw was forgiving the whole way through. It was surprising, and encouraging.

Flavor: not bad, more of the leather and cedar that I noted in the pre light. Also some pepper and spice. It seems a pretty straightforward smoke but a rather enjoyable one. As someone who has not particularly liked Macanudos in the past, I was delightfully surprised.
