Gispert Toro

6" X 50, Natural

Country of Origin: Honduras
Flavor: Medium
Wrapper: Connecticut Shade Ecuadorian, Mexican
Binder: Honduran
Filler: Honduran, Nicaraguan

Appearance
: This was a pretty looking and well constructed cigar. Had a nice cinnamon colored wrapper that was free of obvious veins or flaws, and was packed firm but not too much so. In general, a nice looking stick.

Pre-Light: Clip was easy and straight. No issues. The pre light draw was free and easy and was sweet like earthy organic honey and tangy.

Burn/Draw
: It burned like a very well made cigar should burn: very well. The burn line was pretty much razor straight and did not waver the whole length. The draw was free and easy and provided ample clouds of cool white smoke, never burning too hot. The ash was a fine light grey but never flaked, and held past the one and a half inch mark with no problem. Like I said before, this cigar was nothing if not well constructed, and it showed.

Flavor: This cigar was relatively mild. It had some nice flavors, a lot of the tanginess I tasted pre light carried over, as well as the earthy honey notes. About a half way some ginger and pumpkin pie like notes crept in, which were nice. Toward the last third there was some stronger spice notes like pepper but it never really even approached medium. This was a middle of the road cigar at a decent price point. If you like milder sticks, this might be something you would like to try.
