Sox Continue Great Pitching!

(Wakefield was brilliant again!)(Mirabelli hit one of the teams three solo shots.)(Papelbon gets the save.)

On the back of another great start by Tim Wakefield (and the fourth consecutive great start for the Sox rotation), and three solo home runs, the Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday, 4-1. Powered by Wakefield's amazing line:

7IP 4H 1ER 3BB 4K

And solo shots from Doug Mirabelli, Mike Lowell, and David Ortiz, the Sox won fairly easily. Jonathan Papelbon added his third save, in closing things out. Now if the offense could stay consistent, with the pitching they have had the Sox would be downright dominant. The Sox close out the series Thursday afternoon with Julian Tavarez (on 11 days rest) faces Jay's ace Roy Halladay.

GO SOX!
