Fun at 5/3 Field!

Schilling was sharp, in a rehab start.

Crazy fans...
So we all went to the Tokedo Mud Hens game last night. It was a lot of fun. They were playing the Pawtucket Red Sox, which was a big deal because Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling was doing a rehab start with the team. The Ballpark was PACKED, and the only tickets we could get were "Standing Room Only". Schilling was sharp, pitching five scoreless inning only giving up 2 hits. He also threw two thirds (44 of 66) of his pitches for strikes.Adding to the excitement, after Schilling left the game, the home team staged a late comeback, tying it at two in the ninth and winning it in the tenth 3-2, all while the massive electric lightshow of an incoming thunderstorm blazed overhead. they just did get it in before the rain.

Fun times.
